How Many Licensed Home Health Agencies Operate in Nevada?
Nevada had 703 licensed home care agencies as of September 16, 2026, according to the state’s Bureau of Health Care Quality and Compliance. These agencies offer either personal care services, skilled nursing and therapy services, or both.
Of the 703 agencies, 430 hold personal care licenses and 302 hold home health licenses. Twenty-nine agencies are dual-licensed to provide both personal care and home health services.

What Services Do Licensed Agencies Provide?

Occupational therapy is available through 282 agencies, medical social work through 273, and speech therapy through 269. Skilled nursing can be obtained from 258 agencies, while 255 agencies employ home health aides.
Specialized services show lower availability. Nutritional guidance is offered by 78 agencies, 64 agencies are certified as intermediary service organizations, and 26 provide pharmaceutical services for home infusion only.
